I’ve wanted to play roller derby for as long as I knew it existed, but I always thought I was too small. In 2017, my husband convinced me to attend an open house and I fell in love with the sport. Skating with North Texas Roller Derby has provided a passion I didn’t know was missing. I’ve never been more dedicated to challenging myself to be a better me; physically and mentally. I’m grateful that I took the leap and joined NTRD. These women are encouraging, welcoming, strong, and confident. I’m proud to call them my derby family. Off the track, I’m a mother, wife, and a technical writer.
