DESCRIPTION:In 2025, We want you to create an experience beyond the ordinary!\nInterested in playing roller derby or becoming an official? Join us for our January Open House.\nWe have 3 training tracks to choose from. We have something for everyone!\n-Roller Derby\n-Skating Official\n-Non-Skating Official\nWe will start with a League Orientation before gearing up and having some fun on the track!\nDuring Orientation, we will go over League Bylaws, Membership Requirements, Dues, and sign waivers.\nOnce orientation is over, it will be time to lace up those skates!\nBoth Skating tracks (Roller Derby & Skating Officials) will learn about safety on the track, how to get their skates moving, and how to stop.\nNever skated before? Not a problem! We will teach you everything you need to know.\nThose on the Non-Skating Official (NSO) Track will meet our Head NSO who will share overview of positions and information on education and volunteer opportunities.\nWe look forward to seeing you on the track!!\nIf you have any questions, please contact us at recruiting@northtexasrollerderby.com\n
